Merkel sees popularity drop in poll rating BERLIN, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- German Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) has seen a fall in her popularity levels while on holiday, an ARD-DeutschlandTrend survey released on Wednesday night suggests.
