The rainbow is a beautiful show in the sky. We often see it in the rainy season. It is caused by a light shower of rain in the sunshine. It appears opposite to the sun. It cannot be seen at night or in the day when the sun is bright.
                 The rainbow appears in the curved shape. It looks like a bow. Its two ends touch the horizon. There are seven colours in it-green, red, yellow, orange, indigo, blue and violet.
                 There are two kinds of belief about the rainbow. Some people say the rainbow is he bow of Indra, the king of gods. He uses it in war against the demons. Another belief is that if it appears in the western sky, when it appears in the eastern sky, it indicates no rains.
